This article specifically is about the history of the African National Congress (ANC) and their efforts to end the apartheid system. It was in no way, as far as I could examine, biased in any shape, form, or way and provided solid and accurate facts. Although it had great information regarding the ANC's history that will definitely be utiliized in my project, I found that it was very difficult to extract information pertaining to Nelson Mandela in particular and it only gave provided only a few points in which my argument could be proven with. Other than that this was a helpful article and helped progress in my project.

This source is credible because it is the official website of the African National Congress (ANC). This article is the testimony of Nelson Mandela at the 1956-60 Treason Trial in which he was later acquitted of his charges. I ended up embedding this into my website so that viewers and classmates could see how unjust white courts were and how mature and intelligent Mandela was during the trial.
Mandela, Nelson. Long Walk to Freedom. Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1995. Print. This book is a great primary source written by Nelson Mandela himself about himself. It provided his own personal beliefs and ideas on the events that occured around him as well as accurate details of what he did as a strong political leader.This book also gave more insight on Mandela during his presidency because it was difficult finding much information regarding that topic in many of my other sources.

This primary source was very helpful because it gave the reader insight on what Mandela was planning on doing for the country after he got elected as president. I also used a quote from the excerpt to add a dramatic effect to the home page and give the reader insight to what Mandela was like as a person and political figure

This primary source is Nelson Mandela's speech before he was incarcerated and I incorporated a quote onto the home page like my previous source to add a dramatic affect. This source also was important in my research because Mandela conveyed his beliefs on how destructive the apartheid system was and that in fact he was fully committed to the ideals that he had previously been striving for before he was convicted.

This primary source is the recollection of Nelson Mandela's release from prison speech made on Jan.11, 1990. It is a very reliable and credible source because it is the words of Nelson Mandela himself published by the association that he himself was once a part of, the ANC (African National Congress). This is great for my research because Mandela's speech is very clear cut and says what he believes the right things are to do for the country later down the road.

This source is reliable and credible because of the well-known domain name. This article in particular helped me develop my years after page by inciting information about what Mandela did after he retired from a second term. It also gave me specific information on the Elders group and what their main motives/challenges were.

This article is about Nelson Mandela's overall life and how he has contributed in all apects of government to South Africa as well as the world. From this article I was able to use an abundance of evidence to support my thesis that Nelson Mandela was a turning point in history and I also was satisfied with the level of detail this article had compared to many other of my sources.

Like my other Grolier article, this one is just as secure and trustworthy and contributed to my project to a certain degree. This article was basically a biography of Nelson Mandela and the influential actions he has made for the South African government and oppressed black in the region suffering from the apartheid rule. I found this article to have very little information like the other article on Grolier and decided to use it as a basis for my background research.

The evidence that I used was limited and scarce and I decided to use the information as a contributor to the Background Information page of my website.

This source is reliable and well-known for its prestigious position on the list of news pages. This article on the other hand was some what disappointing as it only provided the leader with basic ideas and concepts about Nelson Mandela and lacked the rich detail and quality that many of its other articles have. The evidence that I gathered here will most likely be used in the basic structures of my web pages.

The evidence from this article will be utilized very efficiently for my webpage so that I can come up with some in-depth analysis'

This article was tremendously important to my research as I wanted the reader with some preview of how devastating the apartheid system was and it also provided great details that i applied to my evidence in order so I could analyze it thoroughly.

I have never heard of this source before but after researching more about it I found it to be credible and reliable. This article was specifically focused on Mandela's time as president and what he did to help the South African government in the short one term that he promised he would lead for. The detail in this article was tremedous and this article was very important in my research as I had trouble finding information regarding Mandela as president, just because he one served one term from 1994-1999.

This source was found to be very credible and reliable because it only produced facts and truth, not fiction. This article in particular was Oliver Tambo, a political figure and friend of Nelson Mandela, and his address to Mandela and his impact on South Africa as a whole. This research is very helpful because I was able to incorperate and describe Mandela as the inspirational leader that many believe he is such as Oliver Tambo.

This source is credible and trustworthy because it was published directly from the United Nations. This article is a detailed timeline of the apartheid system and the significant events that turned the outcome of many situations. Not only did this article give some great details but it had some well captured pictures that I utilized to enhance the design of my webpage.
